Changing your address with the post office is not mandatory, but highly recommended to make sure all your mail is sent to the right address when moving to a new address.

You can change your address with the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and the Old Age Security (OAS) by calling them at the following: 1-800-277-9914. You can also do it through your account at My Service Canada Account (MSCA) on the government’s website.
