  1. Generally, you do not have to speak french to move to Canada. Most of the provinces in Canada are English Majority, and English speakers will have no problem adapting. If you are moving to a province like Quebec, which is a French society, you need to speak French. If you want to move to Quebec and you do not speak French, it is a mandatory priority that you learn French upon your arrival. You may have to pass a mandatory French test or undergo mandatory French lessons if you do not speak French.
