1 thought on “Should I live in a mobile home park?”

  1. Mobile home parks are usually inhabited by retirees. If you’re a young person who’s just looking to save money, you may want to consider other options as you won’t really fit in a mobile home park.

Pros of living in a mobile home park

    • Mobile homes are more affordable than regular homes
    • No property taxes
    • Minimal property or home maintenance
    • You can upgrade the home easily and at will
    • Parks are usually in proximity

Cons of living in a mobile home park

    • Home appreciation is less in mobile homes compared to traditional homes
    • They are more difficult to sell
    • Lack of privacy
    • There is a social stigma of poverty attached to them
    • The parks can be sold without informing the occupants prior to the sale
