  1. A boat is a complex vehicle that requires the utmost care, especially when it comes to storage. The cost of storing a boat or mooring it ranges from about $300 and upwards of $1000 for a 30-foot boat, depending on the following key factors.

    • The size of the boat – Naturally, it will cost you more money to store a larger boat than a small one. It will require more space, after all. The price mentioned above is for a 30-foot boat; smaller ones could cost less and vise versa.
    • Location of mooring – Storing a boat in a marina tends to cost more money due to maintenance costs, license fees and electricity usage. Keeping your boat in a storage unit is considered to be only slightly less expensive.
