MovingWaldo's review of Sparta Movers Inc. in Calgary

I used Sparta to move and store the contents of my house. They were so amazing, I left everything to the last minute when I moved and they were so great in sending someone to pack my kitchen and moving me within a week of me needing to be out of my house. When they came to pack the house into the truck to store everything they inventoried and stickered everything that was going into storage. When I finally found a new house they made sure everything on the inventory list was brought back into the house. Adam was great to deal with! I highly recommend using them and I will definitely use them when I move next time.

Our recent move with Sparta Movers Inc. exceeded every expectation we had. From our first interaction through to the completion of the move, the professionalism, care, and customer service demonstrated by the entire team were truly exceptional. Every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped, protected, and handled with remarkable attention to detail. Before loading, the condition of each item was thoroughly reviewed, clearly communicated, and agreed upon, giving us complete confidence that our belongings were in excellent hands. What impressed us most, however, was the team's genuine commitment to serving others. After the move was complete and the truck was ready to depart, one of the crew members noticed our neighbour struggling with a box. Without hesitation, he stepped off the truck and offered to carry it for them. We only learned about this later from our neighbour, and it perfectly reflects the character and customer-first culture of this team. The move was completed on schedule, with outstanding communication and a level of professionalism that is becoming increasingly rare. Looking back, our only regret is that we didn't engage Sparta Movers to provide even more packing and preparation services before the move. Having now experienced the quality of their work, we will absolutely be expanding the level of service we request for the second phase of our move into our new home. A heartfelt thank you to Sales Representative Adam for making the process seamless from the outset. An especially sincere thank you goes to another Adam, our Mover Team Lead, and team members Skylar and Mansour for delivering an exceptional moving experience. You represented Sparta Movers Inc. with pride, professionalism, and genuine care. We will be requesting that your team deliver the back end of this move. In addition, we would recommend your company and your team without hesitation to anyone looking for a moving company they can trust. Jon & Colette Close

Adam and his crew were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They helped us pack everything with incredible care and attention to detail, making what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. On moving day, they were professional, efficient, and treated all of our belongings as if they were their own. Everything arrived safely and was placed exactly where we wanted it in our new home. We couldn’t have asked for a better team and highly recommend Adam and his crew to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free move!

I recently used Sparta Movers and had a great experience from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and handled everything with care. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made what could have been a stressful moving day feel smooth and organized. What stood out most was their attention to detail. They took extra care with fragile items and made sure everything was properly wrapped and secured before transport. The movers were also friendly and respectful, which made a big difference during such a busy day. Pricing was fair and transparent, with no unexpected surprises at the end. Overall, I would highly recommend Sparta Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking moving company. I would definitely use their services again in the future.

Had a really positive experience with this moving company. The team handled all the heavy items—couches, chairs, everything—with care, and they took the time to individually wrap pieces to prevent any damage. It definitely showed that they take pride in their work. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that one of the covers for my desk went missing during the move. That said, overall it was a smooth and professional experience, and I would still recommend them.
