How to change your address with Santander
When looking to change your address with Santander, you have 3 options to pick from:

You must notify Santander of your move so they can update your account information. It ensures that your billing statements arrive at the right place so that you can pay your credit card on time.

It is highly recommended to notify Santander of your move as soon as possible. It’s best to update your address with them at least two weeks before your moving day to accommodate last-minute delays.
The process of changing your address with Santander is easy. You can choose to update your address online, by phone, or in person. Let’s learn more about it in detail.
If you’d like to update your address with Nationwide online, note that there are 2 options to do so: via Online Banking or via Mobile Banking.
Step 1: Log in to Online Banking.
Step 2: Select the “My details & settings” tab.
Step 3: Click on “Change personal details” on the left-hand menu.
Step 4: Choose “Change address“.
Step 5: Enter your new address and press “Continue“.
Step 6: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter your Security Number and OTP, then click on “Confirm” to update your address.
Note: Changing your address for a mortgage and insurance cannot be done via online banking. For that, you will have to visit your local branch.
Step 1: Log in to Mobile Banking.
Step 2: Go to “More“ and click “Help and contact us“.
Step 3: You can choose the option of “Chat with us“.
Step 4: Ask to update your address.
The second option to update your address with Santander is by phone. Call 0800 917 9170 and make sure your account details and identification documents are at hand. The line is reachable every day from 9 am to 7 pm.
You can also complete your Santander change of address in person by visiting your local branch. You will need to provide your debit or credit card, as well as a valid ID, such as your driving licence or your passport.
Once you update your address with Santander, the time it takes to update the changes depends on which option you chose. If done via online banking, by phone or in branch, it will take effect immediately. For the mobile app, the process takes 2 to 3 working days.
To find out what time Santander opens and closes, the best solution is to locate your nearest branch using the branch locator since it varies for every branch. But Santander branches are typically open from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Some of the branches may be open on Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
To update your address for insurance and investment products linked to Santander, you will have to visit a branch to update your address and other details. If you have taken services from another company, you will have to reach out to them to complete your change of address.
To create a profile in your online bank with Santander, you simply need to provide a registered mobile number and your banking credentials. It could be your credit/debit card, account number, sort code, or your mortgage account number.
