I was very disappointed by my experience with Foster's Moving and Storage. I had done a lot of research and they were highly recommended off of Reddit but my experience did not align with all the positive reviews. I was quoted $800 for a 4 hour move for a 600 sqft apartment to a 419 sqft apartment with a $95 dollar charge for a parking permit. The move was 2 blocks away from the original apartment. They took 6.5 hours and charged me $1515 (which is an absurd price for the size of move and nearly double the quoted amount). I specifically picked Foster's because the quote was a reasonable price and was much better than their competitors. The movers were going at an extremely slow pace and blamed for my packing even though they had multiple styles of dollies for moving and they also blamed the distance to the elevator, even though the distance was not far to the elevator and they tried to ask for 3 key fobs for building access, even though they already had 2 key fobs which is the standard amount of fobs given for a unit. I was frustrated because I spent a long time labelling all of my boxes carefully and they were just plopping boxes down randomly in whatever spot in my new smaller apartment with no care for the labels that I had carefully crafted to let the movers know where to put the boxes. When I called to let the company know that I was upset, I was brushed off and wasn't allowed to finish my complaint and just told to send an email to an address, which I found to be very demeaning. My experience left me very frustrated and it made the whole move day a very stressful day overall. I will not be using Foster's Moving and Storage again and will be advising others not to use their services as well.

My wife and I hired Foster’s to do our move last week after looking into a number of moving companies, and we’re glad we made that decision. Jacob came to our apartment the same day I called to give us a free, accurate estimate and was prompt to respond to any of our questions. On the day of the move, his team (Brendan, Alejandro, Ryan) showed up on time and were very professional, accommodating, and efficient.
