We were arranging a move from Victoria to the Shuswap for an older family member. After speaking with one of the big moving companies, we called BC Moving & Storage. We explained to Cindy that we wouldn't be able to be present for the estimate. She was willing to figure out how else the estimate could be done. The willingness to try and make this work for us meant a great deal and told us what we needed to know about BC Moving & Storage's customer service. We found a solution. The estimate was done promptly. The packing, loading, and unloading were professional. Remy and his team obviously knew what they were doing. Nothing was broken or damaged. A wonderful experience from start to finish ! The office staff were very helpful and a dream to work with. The packing and moving crew were friendly, professional and efficient. The cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use BC Moving and Storage again and highly recommend them.
We were abandoned by our original movers the morning of our move. They called to cancel with 20 minutes warning and basically told us good luck. It was the end of the month, so you can imagine how challenging that was. It was a complete scramble. I called BC Moving and Storage and spoke with Michelle, who was kind, calm, and immediately focused on finding a solution. She came through. Due to the last-minute scramble we missed our new building’s move-in window, but Michelle sorted out a new time and had a crew and truck ready to go the next day. They showed up at exactly 2pm as promised. The crew was professional, fast, careful, and genuinely good-natured; they knew what we’d been through and they wanted us to have a good experience. We did. If you’re reading this trying to decide whether to book them: do it!
BC Moving & Storage was the white glove movers who noticed damage to my custom leather sectional when they were putting it together. Gabriel Ross contacted the supplier and six months later they sent a replacement arm piece. With no instructions, the BC Moving & Storage team was able to dis-assemble and reattach the damaged arm. A big kudos to them to figure out how to repair and replace the sectional piece. They did a fantastic job and my piece is in pristine condition.
