I’ve used this company twice (once two years ago and once this year), and the service quality has definitely changed. The first time they rolled out carpets, wrapped everything, and were very fast. This time no carpets, only half the items wrapped, and it took 3 hours just to load the truck. The movers themselves were very kind and hardworking, but they arrived with different information than what I provided to the office. For example, I told the office I was moving into a house with three floors and no driveway, and the movers were told that I was moving into an apartment building with two elevators and a parking lot. This unfortunately doubled our move time, and forced us to choose piles of items to leave behind and figure out how to move later. There were miscommunications within these too. Because of this the movers left items that don’t fit in our cars, and our total cost went from $640 to $1300. This didn’t include their tips either. We also ended up helping carry things up all the stairs. If we weren’t able to help, I don’t know how much longer it would have been. Again, the movers were amazing guys and went above and beyond in terms of what they were expecting. The office should not have quoted me so low (as I was very thorough in what I said I would have to move), and they should be better at keeping their employees in the know!
