Five tips to improve the brightness of your home
When moving into a new house, we often don’t pay enough attention to the brightness of the space. It’s in fact because of this that it isn’t recommended to visit places at nighttime. 2. Choose the right color for your walls
When we think about a room’s brightness, we immediately think about white walls. But that isn’t necessarily the only option! In fact, if you overdo it, your dwelling will quickly end up looking cold and dull–and no one wants to live in a hospital! There exists a myriad of colors you can opt for, like light grey or ivory. You can also add hints of bright colors, like orange, yellow, pink or electric blue to lighten up your space!

Regarding the furniture itself, it is better to opt for pieces with a lighter color, or even a shiny one, depending on your personal taste. You can also choose furniture pieces that have a glass or plexiglass surface in order to reflect and amplify the existing light as much as possible.
5. Clear your windows
This is an essential feature to optimal brightness: all the places through which sunlight enters have to be cleared as much as possible–especially your windows. If you choose to hang curtains, pick some with a light and thin fabric, along with a curtain rod longer than the curtains so that they don’t end up closing off part of the light that filters in simply by being positioned in front of your window.
