Let’s Get Moving prices their jobs by the hour and you don’t need to worry about hidden costs or additional fees. The last hour is also charged per quarter-hour. There are also discounted rates on weekdays for moves between the 4 to 26 of every month. Pricing time begins from the moment the movers leave the office and the job time is complete when they return to the office at the end. On top of it all, there are no fuel charges for local moves.

What type of moving supplies and equipment does Let's Get Moving sell?
You can purchase entire moving kits with Let’s Get Moving. These include everything you need for moving home and come in a range of sizes from a studio/loft moving kit to a four bedroom moving kit.
The one bedroom moving kit, for example, contains 12 small boxes, 10 medium boxes, 8 large boxes, 2 rolls of tape, 10 lbs of packing paper, a black market, and a queen mattress bag.
In terms of equipment, they sell a two or four-wheeled dolly, box cutters, floor runners, moving blankets and padlocks.
All of the items listed in the moving kit are available for purchase as single items too. Mattress covers come in all bed sizes, and you can also get chairs and sofa covers.

How does Let's Get Moving’s packing material calculator work?
Let’s Get Moving’s packing calculator (bottom of page) allows you to determine how many boxes and packing materials you need for your move. It has two scales. The first is a scale for how many bedrooms you have in your home (this ranges from a studio to a six-bedroom home). The second scale is to enter how many people over 12 are in the household.
There are two more questions on the calculator. You’re asked to rate your lifestyle and choose between ‘Minimalist’, ‘Modest’, or ‘Pack Rat’. Finally, you need to specify the packing style you like by choosing ‘basic’, ‘average’, or ‘professional’.
